The 6.00 ERA at AAA is the loudest number, and it's hard to talk around. What the MLB-equivalent translation shows underneath it: a strikeout rate that lands just below the MLB mark at 8.0 K/9, and a walk rate at 3.7 where the MLB average sits at 3.2, producing an 11% K-BB% against a 13.5% baseline. He limits walks at the 71st percentile among AAA pitchers, but the strikeouts aren't there to make that control survivable, and the 1.60 WHIP across 101.7 innings is too wide a margin to explain away as luck. If the stuff plays up in the majors, he's a depth arm who spots the occasional start; if it doesn't, he fills the same role one rung below.
