Deterministic, stat-grounded reads from the current ValuCast prospect board. These reports explain the evidence; they do not change rank or value.
What the reports say
1 matching report. Stats come from ValuCast-owned MiLB context; peak notes come from the peak projection, not public scouting grades.
The .408 OBP across AA & A+ & A is the headline, and the 45 stolen bases in 419 plate appearances is what makes it more than a walk-rate story. At 19, Tate Southisene is running and getting on base at a level that translates to an 11.1% walk rate in MLB context, well clear of the 8.5% MLB average, but the ISO translates to just .129, and that gap between his plate discipline and his raw power is where the ceiling question lives. If the contact and speed hold and the power develops even modestly, he becomes an everyday shortstop; if the pop stalls, what's left is a high-OBP bench piece who can run.
