Across AA & A+, Franklin has struck out 133 batters in 105 innings, an 11.4 K/9 that looks electric until the translation lands at 8.7, essentially what an average MLB arm produces. The walk rate, already 3.9 per nine in the minors, comes out to 4.1 in translation, above a typical starter's 3.2, and the whole shape hinges on whether those strikeouts survive the jump. If the swing-and-miss flattens even a little, the walk rate has nowhere to hide, and you're left with a depth arm now and a depth arm if it works.
