Walk rate is the best thing on the card. Across AA & A+, Snead has issued 28 walks in 104.6 innings, and that 2.4 BB/9 sits at the 94th percentile in his pitcher pool, a skill that survives the translation to MLB reasonably intact at 2.9 BB/9. The strikeout side is the problem: 89 punchouts across AA & A+ at 7.7 K/9 lands in the 14th percentile, and the MLB-equivalent comes out to 6.8 while the league average sits at 8.6, which is the gap that defines his ceiling. If he wrings more swing-and-miss out of the same control profile there's a back-end arm in here; if the stuff stays where it is, the command earns him a depth role and not much more.
