What the reports say
1 matching report. Stats come from ValuCast-owned MiLB context; peak notes come from the peak projection, not public scouting grades.
Fifty stolen bases is the loudest thing on this card, and it's also what makes the rest of it complicated. Across AA & A+, Houston is hitting .310/.391/.454 with 61 walks against 106 strikeouts in 548 plate appearances, a contact profile that translates to roughly league-average strikeout territory at the MLB level and a walk rate a tick above it, but the raw power dissolves on the way up: his .144 ISO across AA & A+ translates to .117 at the majors, well short of the average big-league hitter. The speed is real enough that a profile built on .300 contact, table-setting walk rates, and 50 stolen bases across AA & A+ could play as a second-division regular if he reaches base consistently at the next level. If the BABIP-driven average regresses and the power doesn't grow, what's left is a bench piece who runs well.
