What the reports say
1 matching report. Stats come from ValuCast-owned MiLB context; peak notes come from the peak projection, not public scouting grades.
The power across AAA & AA this season is the loudest thing in the profile, and it's also the problem. Twenty-eight home runs with a .301 ISO in 420 plate appearances puts him at the 99th percentile in isolated power among this hitter pool, but the swing that produces it translates to a 30.9% strikeout rate at the MLB level, while the MLB average sits at 22.0%. The walk rate survives the translation at 11.7%, and the MLB average is 8.5%, so the .362 OBP has real foundation, but a .238 average on a .283 BABIP suggests the contact quality is already paying most of what it owes. If the power plays in a big-league park and the strikeouts land on the livable end of his range, he's a platoon bat with genuine pop; if the swing-and-miss amplifies the way it usually does at the highest level, the walks and raw power don't carry him past a bench role, and the floor here is org depth.
