Deterministic, stat-grounded reads from the current ValuCast prospect board. These reports explain the evidence; they do not change rank or value.
What the reports say
1 matching report. Stats come from ValuCast-owned MiLB context; peak notes come from the peak projection, not public scouting grades.
Forty-one stolen bases at AA is the loudest thing on this card, and it's carrying a profile that doesn't have much else going for it. The bat is a real problem: a .221/.325/.352 line in 533 plate appearances, and when the translation runs through the AA-to-MLB filter, the strikeout rate climbs to 27.7% while the ISO lands at .113, well below what a typical big-leaguer produces. The walk rate translates to 10.3%, a tick above the MLB mean of 8.5%, so the on-base instincts are there, but they're propping up a hit tool that grades in the bottom quarter of the pool and power that simply isn't going to play up a level. If the speed stays elite and the contact improves enough to make it actionable, there's a bench piece here, a late-inning pinch runner or defensive replacement who can steal a bag; if the strikeout rate holds at its current shape through the upper minors, that's organizational depth.
