Deterministic, stat-grounded reads from the current ValuCast prospect board. These reports explain the evidence; they do not change rank or value.
What the reports say
1 matching report. Stats come from ValuCast-owned MiLB context; peak notes come from the peak projection, not public scouting grades.
The walk rate is the whole profile in one number. He's running a 5.3 BB/9 at AAA, which translates to 4.7 at the MLB level while the MLB average sits at 3.2 — and 95 strikeouts over 86.3 innings sounds appealing until you realize 51 walks are attached to them. The K/9 translates almost exactly to league average; the command doesn't. If he ever finds a consistent release point that tightens the zone, there's a usable arm in here somewhere, but right now the ceiling and the floor are the same thing: a depth arm who fills a spot when rosters get thin and gets designated when they don't.
