Barco has issued 38 walks in 68.3 innings at AAA, and when that translates to the big league level, the MLB-equivalent BB/9 sits at 4.4, well above where major league hitters let you get away with free passes, while his strikeout rate translates to almost exactly average at 8.5. A K/9 that merely matches the room buys you nothing when the free passes are piling up, and his 11% K-BB% at AAA reflects exactly that squeeze. If the command doesn't tighten, what's left is a depth arm who survives on ERA luck rather than misses, and the ceiling here is a depth arm even when it works.
