Deterministic, stat-grounded reads from the current ValuCast prospect board. These reports explain the evidence; they do not change rank or value.
What the reports say
1 matching report. Stats come from ValuCast-owned MiLB context; peak notes come from the peak projection, not public scouting grades.
The translation is the whole problem. Eleven home runs and a .164 ISO at AAA across 370 plate appearances sounds like a developing power profile, but the MLB-equivalent ISO comes out to .138, a tick below what a league-average MLB bat produces. The walk rate translates to 7.5%, similarly short of the MLB mean. The one number that survives the translation cleanly is the strikeout rate, 21.4% in equivalent terms, right at what you'd see from a typical big-league hitter. For a first baseman, that's not enough to carry a profile where the power and the walk rate both land below water, and the ceiling-floor range here is genuinely narrow: either he finds a way to add loft and patience against better arms, or he's organizational depth that clears waivers.
