The .413 BABIP is the whole conversation. Across AAA & AA & A+, Devin Taylor is hitting .308/.411/.493 in 647 plate appearances, and that surface line is doing a lot of work a high BABIP is quietly carrying. Translate the underlying skills to an MLB context and the picture tightens: the K% moves to 29.6% against an MLB baseline of 22.0%, and ISO lands at .139, a tick below the MLB mean of .150. The 96 walks across AAA & AA & A+ translate to 11.7% at the big-league level, genuine discipline, but walk rate alone can't carry a profile where contact regresses and the power grades below average against major-league pitching. If the BABIP normalizes, there isn't enough ISO or contact quality left to be an everyday right fielder; what remains is a bench outfielder at best, organizational depth at the floor.
