The power reads better than the translation suggests. Across AA & A+, Fitz-Gerald has posted a .191 ISO with 20 home runs and 15 stolen bases in 515 plate appearances, and that raw in-game pop profiles 74th percentile among his peers. The problem is what happens when better pitching arrives: the MLB-equivalent translation puts his strikeout rate at 24.9%, a few ticks above what MLB hitters run, and his walk rate translates to 8.3%, roughly league-average contact territory that leaves almost no margin if the strikeouts climb. His 50 walks against 113 strikeouts are the real hinge. If the bat-to-ball sharpens, he's a second-division regular with sneaky pop; if it doesn't, the speed and occasional thump are probably bench material.
