Deterministic, stat-grounded reads from the current ValuCast prospect board. These reports explain the evidence; they do not change rank or value.
What the reports say
1 matching report. Stats come from ValuCast-owned MiLB context; peak notes come from the peak projection, not public scouting grades.
The walk rate is the whole argument. Across AAA, AA, and A+ this season, Davalillo has issued 45 free passes in 92.9 innings, and the MLB translation puts his BB/9 at 4.2 while the average MLB starter sits at 3.2 — that gap doesn't leave room for error when the strikeout rate translates to a tick below league average as well. His K-BB% of 14% across those three levels looks passable until you see the MLB-equivalent lands at 11.4%, with the league at 13.5%. If the command sharpens and he can suppress walks in a sustained MLB sample, there's a back-end profile to build on; if it doesn't, he's organizational depth.
