The walk rate is the thing. At 21, Pratt is drawing 34 walks against just 37 strikeouts across 261 AAA plate appearances, and the MLB-equivalent translation puts his BB% at 10.5 and his K% at 18.2, both comfortably on the right side of the league line. The power translation is the catch: his ISO comes out to .131 in MLB terms, meaningfully below where big-league averages sit, and the .241 AVG riding a .264 BABIP at AAA suggests the hit tool isn't doing extra lifting. If the discipline holds at the next level and he holds shortstop, he's a bench piece with a path to platoon value; if the BABIP normalizes down and the gap power never firms up, depth is the honest ceiling.
