What the reports say
1 matching report. Stats come from ValuCast-owned MiLB context; peak notes come from the peak projection, not public scouting grades.
The .831 OPS at AAA looks the part until you run the translation. McAdoo's raw line at AAA in 2026 is built on real contact and genuine patience — 48 walks in 385 plate appearances, a 12% walk rate that translates to roughly 10.5% at the big-league level, comfortably above average. The power is the soft spot: a .196 ISO at AAA compresses to .154 against MLB pitching, which is essentially league average and leaves him without a loud carrying tool at third base. If the walk rate holds and the average plays, he's a fringe bench piece; if the contact softens against better velocity, there's not enough left to fill a roster spot.
