Deterministic, stat-grounded reads from the current ValuCast prospect board. These reports explain the evidence; they do not change rank or value.
What the reports say
1 matching report. Stats come from ValuCast-owned MiLB context; peak notes come from the peak projection, not public scouting grades.
The power reads like a lottery ticket that actually cashed: 38 home runs across AAA & AA in 533 plate appearances, with an ISO of .298 that translates to .207 at the MLB level, a figure that dwarfs what most big-league hitters produce. The walk rate translates to 9.8%, healthy enough that there's genuine plate discipline propping up the slugging. What there isn't is enough contact: a 30 K% in the minors carries over to 30.9% in translation, and a .241 BABIP explains why .222 is the batting average despite all that loft. If he can't shorten that strikeout rate, the power stays without the profile, and a first baseman who hits .200 with acceptable walks is a bench piece who has to earn his roster spot every spring.
