Deterministic, stat-grounded reads from the current ValuCast prospect board. These reports explain the evidence; they do not change rank or value.
What the reports say
1 matching report. Stats come from ValuCast-owned MiLB context; peak notes come from the peak projection, not public scouting grades.
Two innings. That's the entire current AAA sample, and it's doing almost no work here. What the translation shows isn't alarming but isn't encouraging: a K/9 that matches the MLB average exactly at 8.6, a BB/9 of 3.8 where the average sits at 3.2, and a K-BB% of 12.4 when the typical MLB starter lands at 13.5. If the strikeout rate doesn't climb and the walks stay where they are, the profile resolves as a depth arm, which is exactly where the ceiling lands anyway. The honest read here is that 2.0 IP can't tell you much, and ValuCast's rankings reflect that uncertainty, sliding him six spots in three days.
